There are 2 events looming large in the CULRC Alumni calendar. The Alumni Race and the Alumni Dinner on Feb 27th
We would like to see you involved in both events, the racing if you think you’re up to it, or even if you’re not and the dinner should be a great event with many already confirmed.
Firstly, organisation is underway to put the Blue Boat through its paces against the wily old boys crew. Always one to watch this has been scheduled in London on the 27th Feb to coincide with some side by side training with London Rowing Club. Both races will prove testing, for different reasons perhaps, the crew will need to draw on all its experience to cope with the 2 opponents
We are also hoping to put together a second alumni crew, less fit perhaps, less polished (having only been in a boat a few times since leaving Cambridge) but all the more eager, all the more tricky for it.

All this racing will make those involved hungry. Fortunately for them and for any alumni who chickened out, sorry, who couldn’t make it the Alumni Dinner is to be held at the RAF club in Piccadilly in London that evening of the 27th. We hope many will join us, several crews, including the first ever CULRC crew are already confirmed.
